Antonia Thomas flytur fyrirlestur á vegum námsbrautar í fornleifafafræði við Háskóla Íslands í samvinnu við Félag fornleifafræðing.
Fyrirlesturinn nefnist „Art + Archaeology / Orkney + Iceland: Past, Present and Future Connections.“ Hann verður haldinn í Lögbergi 101, mánudaginn 20. mars 2023 og hefst kl. 16:00.

Antonia is Programme Leader for the interdisciplinary MA Contemporary Art and Archaeology based at Orkney college, part of the University of the Highlands & Islands, Scotland. Her research explores the intersections of art and archaeology, from prehistoric rock art to contemporary visual art practice. She is currently Co-investigator on the Royal Society of Edinburgh funded International for Contemporary Archaeology in Scotland (INCAScot). In this short talk she will reflect on some art and archaeology projects from the last ten years and explore some possibilities for future collaborations.
