Dr. Utsa Mukherjee dósent og rannsóknastjóri við Brunel háskóla í London heimsækir Menntavísindasvið í lok maí og heldur m.a. þessa vinnustofu um áhrif rannsókna. 

In this workshop, we will explore what research impact looks like. Specifically, the focus will be on the benefit that academic research can bring to non-academic communities, stakeholders and the society at large. We will look at (i) different kinds of non-academic impact, (ii) impact pathways, (iii) difference between research engagement and research impact, and (iv) ways of capturing and evaluating the non-academic impact of our research. We will also reflect on why non-academic impact matters and why researchers should think about this area of work.
