Nánar:
A lot of students want to sound like a native speaker when they speak a foreign language, but is that really important? And is it even possible? In this workshop, we’ll discuss current research on the factors that affect foreign accentedness and whether your conversational partners be able to understand you anyway. In the second part of the workshop, we’ll discuss how to address features of a foreign accent that actually do make comphrehension difficult using articulatory phonetics for the classroom.
