LinguaQuest – Connecting the dots for learning Icelandic as foreigners

LinguaQuest is an hour-long interactive workshop, conducted in recognition of Equality Days.
It is a two-session event, which brings together participants from diverse backgrounds to explore inclusive approaches to learning Icelandic as a foreign language. Participants reflect on real-life language barriers and their impact on active communication in the first session.
Meanwhile, the second session involves collaborative idea generation to develop practical, creative concepts that make language study more accessible and equitable.
It has an underlying theme of discussing, respecting, and empowering each participant, demonstrating how language can be a bridge to inclusion and opportunity.
The event is conducted in both Icelandic and English.
