Krafist er MA-/MS-prófs með lágmarkseinkunn 7,25 eða annars prófs sem doktorsnámsnefnd metur að sé samsvarandi.
Ljúka þarf 180/240 einingum til doktorsprófs, eða að jafnaði 60 einingum á hverju ári námsári.
